Solution Overview – Create a DMR Straight from the Nonconformance Screen
Our customer had a need to create DMR records straight from the Nonconformance screen.
This would eliminate the Inspection Processing screen all together.
To track these special records, we setup a generic InspectorID. Code was then added to the Nonconformance screen that automatically generated the DMR after saving the Nonconformance record.
Then, just as the Inspection Processing screen does, the DMR number would display to the user.
